Digit EDU 2024

Digit EDU 2024 (Promoting cooperation and research to address the digital needs in the area of education and training in Europe – Year 2), a grant operating project funded by the European Union, is currently running under the coordination of DLEARN as a single partner till December 2024.

Participating in this project, Dlearn contributes to the initiatives of the European Education Area (EHEA), the Digital Education Plan 2021-2027, the general interests and policies of the European Union in the context of the broad cultural revolution it addresses. DigitEdu 2024 is part of a promotion effort started by Dlearn already in the previous year, with the participation in DigitEdu 2023 (More details HERE.) In general, the objectives promoted by this EU grant are as follows:

  1. Raise awareness about European policy agendas in education and training, in particular for the strategic priorities of the European Education Are;
  2. Increase stakeholder engagement and cooperation with public authorities for the implementation of policies and reforms in the education and training sectors;
  3. Increase stakeholder involvement in the education and training sectors;
  4. Increase the involvement of stakeholders and civil society in the dissemination of programme policies and actions.

In order to achieve the stand objectives, the project proposes the implementation of a series of outward-oriented activities, which can be grouped as follows:

Research ”The Future of Digital Education in Europe. Needs, issues, practices, and possible improvements in Education through digital transformation” a self-sustained survey conducted in 2024 to gather insights, concerns, expectations, and perspectives of the impact of digital transformation on the field of Education & Training.

Research ”Work Inclusion of Disadvantaged Individuals” a self-sustained survey conducted in 2024 to gather perspectives on integrating disadvantaged individuals into the workforce and to identity key factors influencing this issue and assess the current state of affairs in European countries.
