In the fast-paced digital era, the Ethical AI Tourism (EthAI Tour) project emerges as a pivotal initiative aimed at reshaping the tourism industry through the lens of ethics and artificial intelligence (AI). This innovative project, supported by the Erasmus+ Programme, focuses on providing vocational training to equip industry professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary for the ethical application of AI in tourism. Project Priorities and Goals
EthAI Tour focuses on supporting the digital transformation of the tourism industry while ensuring AI is implemented ethically. It aligns with key EU policies, such as the Pact for Skills and Europe’s Digital Decade, with the following main goals:
- Raising awareness of AI’s ethical implications in tourism.
- Providing tailored training for VET trainers and learners on AI and ethics.
- Supporting the European Commission’s Ethics Guidelines for Trustworthy AI.
The project also seeks to contribute to the long-term development of AI applications that are not only technologically advanced but also ethically sound and beneficial to society, travelers, and the environment.
Target Groups
