ELITe – A road to innovative methodologies for STEM teachers

Where were we?

Last news regarding ELITe were carried about the third transnational project meeting. It took place at the premises of FORTH (Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas), the Research Institute located in Heraklion that has the role of coordinator within the consortium. It was mid-June 2018 at the time, and the wonderful weather that welcomed the partners is currently a far yet delightful memory.

The Consortium is going to meet again in January 2019. The fifth project meeting will be hosted by the University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), the second largest Bavarian University, and it will be held at a venue in Fürth (Germany).

The European Digital Learning Network, developing ELITe along with the other involved organisations and stakeholders, have been benefiting from the materials and resources the all partnership has provided since the very beginning of the project – April 2016. In 2019 ELITe will see its conclusive development, and several multiplier events – in Greece, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and Spain – will be walking hand-in-hand with the final steps of the project. During those events workshops will be organised, where educational policy makers, policy mediators and practitioners will be negotiating key points in the relative country system towards a new model for STEM professional learning.
