Shaping the Future of Digital Education
The European Digital Learning Network ETS (DLEARN) actively engages in a wide variety of initiatives across Europe aimed at promoting digital learning, digital skills, and innovative education methods. By leveraging the expertise of its members, DLEARN is able to translate ideas into practical, impactful projects that reach learners of all ages and education levels. DLEARN operates primarily through its four specialized working groups, each focusing on a distinct educational sector:
- Higher Education (HE)– Developing ICT-based approaches for university-level teaching and research.
- Adult Education and Youth – Enhancing lifelong learning opportunities and digital skills for adults and young people.
- Vocational Education and Training (VET) – Supporting digital competence and employability in technical and professional education.
- School Education – Introducing innovative teaching methods and digital tools in primary and secondary education.
Collaborative and Transnational Initiatives
DLEARN’s network of 34 organizations across 20 countries allows it to launch cross-border initiatives that strengthen collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in digital learning. Members participate in:Foster digital learning, making education more attractive, flexible, effective, and accessible to everyone.
Key Areas of Activity
DLEARN members contribute to projects and initiatives in several interconnected areas, including:
- Digital Competences & New Technologies – Designing tools, platforms, and training programs to develop ICT and digital skills.
- Intercultural and Intergenerational Learning – Promoting exchange and collaboration across different cultural and age groups.
- Innovative Curricula & Teaching Methods – Experimenting with creative educational models, including game-based learning, mobile applications, and interactive platforms.
- Entrepreneurial Education – Supporting entrepreneurship and employability through practical learning experiences.
- Youth Empowerment & Skills Development – Implementing projects to increase motivation, engagement, and career-relevant competencies among young learners.
