Gianluca is a senior project designer and manager with more than 25 years of experience in EU project development. Over his career, he has successfully written and coordinated over 500 projects and evaluates more than 150 new proposals each year for the European Commission and various EU agencies.
He is the founder and president of the European Digital Learning Network and serves as an entrepreneur, partner, and General Manager at Falco&Associati Education (formerly Eurocrea Merchant). He is an expert in education and training policies, EU funding programmes, and European-level initiatives.
As a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Auditor, Gianluca has extensive experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly in integrating the knowledge triangle and fostering cooperation between research, academia, and business.
He is a former Board Member of EBN, the international network of over 150 quality-certified EU|BICs (Business and Innovation Centres) and 100 additional organisations supporting innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups, and SMEs. During his mandate at EBN, he also served as Chair of the European Education & Entrepreneurship Strategic Interest Group.
