About the project

Digitedu 2024

Digit EDU 2024 (Promoting cooperation and research to address the digital needs in the area of education and training in Europe – Year 2), a grant operating project funded by the European Union, is currently running under the coordination of DLEARN as a single partner till December 2024. Participating in this project, Dlearn contributes to the initiatives of the European Education Area (EHEA), the Digital Education Plan 2021-2027, the general interests and policies of the European Union in the context of the broad cultural revolution it addresses. DigitEdu 2024 is part of a promotion effort started by Dlearn already in the previous year, with the participation in DigitEdu 2023 (More details HERE.)

EU Disclaimer

In general, the objectives promoted by this EU grant are as follows:

  • Raise awareness about European policy agendas in education and training, in particular for the strategic priorities of the European Education Are;
  • Increase stakeholder engagement and cooperation with public authorities for the implementation of policies and reforms in the education and training sectors;
  • Increase stakeholder involvement in the education and training sectors;
  • Increase the involvement of stakeholders and civil society in the dissemination of programme policies and actions.

In order to achieve the stand objectives, the project proposes the implementation of a series of outward-oriented activities, which can be grouped as follows:

Annual Conference

The 2024 Dlearn Annual Conference, held on December 3, 2024, in Bacău, Romania, highlighted the transformative impact of digital education and cross-border collaboration in shaping the future of tourism.

Satellite conferences

Dlearn members countries aim to further strengthen cooperation among public authorities. decision-makers, and stakeholders through induction and training.

Networking events

The DLEARN staff organized the networking event, “Meet-Connect-Collaborate: Empowering Future Growth: Exploring Erasmus+, Creative Europe, and Tourism Pathways”. The event was designed to create a platform for participants and stakeholders to engage in discussions, share knowledge, and establish potential collaborations in education, creative industries, and tourism.

To promote skills development, in particular digital skills, social inclusion and training.

Research ”The Future of Digital Education in Europe. Needs, issues, practices, and possible improvements in Education through digital transformation” and Research ”Work Inclusion of Disadvantaged Individuals”

Training courses

Open to EU organisations and individuals which will aim to increase the skills and knowledge of those involved on various topics

Webinars

Organisation of webinars: Free and open webinars will focus on the following topics: – Supporting the green and digital transitions in education and training – Enhancing competence and motivation in the education profession for teachers and trainers – Improving disability inclusion through digital approaches

Organisation of workshop

Face to face and hybrid workshops aligned with the green and digital priorities of EU Commission and open to the participation of whoever might be interested
