About the project
Build 2026
The European Digital Learning Network ETS, DLEARN is proud to announce the official launch of its new flagship initiative, BUILD 2026 – Boosting Upskilling, Inclusion, and Lifelong Digital Learning.
Funded as an Erasmus+ Specific Operating Grant, BUILD 2026 represents DLEARN’s annual work programme for 2026 and marks a significant step forward in strengthening digital education, inclusion, and skills development across Europe.
As the coordinator of the project, the European Digital Learning Network ETS DLEARN leads a dynamic European community of organisations working at the intersection of education, innovation, and digital transformation. Through this initiative, the network reinforces its commitment to addressing key challenges in today’s education systems, including digital skills gaps, inequalities in access to learning, and the rapid emergence of Artificial Intelligence.
The Impact and Contributions of BUILD 2026
BUILD 2026 brings together civil society organisations, educators, policymakers, and experts to foster cooperation and build a more inclusive, sustainable, and values-driven digital learning ecosystem. The project places a strong focus on empowering educators, youth, and vulnerable groups with the competences needed to succeed in the digital and green transitions.
Over the course of 2026, BUILD will deliver a wide range of activities, including European Forums, national Satellite Events, an Annual Panel on Artificial Intelligence and European values, as well as targeted trainings and webinars on digital skills, AI, and digital citizenship. These activities will be complemented by key outputs such as policy briefs, research reports, and practical toolkits designed to support innovation and evidence-based policymaking.
With its strong emphasis on collaboration, capacity building, and policy dialogue, BUILD 2026 aims to actively contribute to shaping the future of education in Europe, making it more accessible, ethical, and responsive to the needs of society.
