The research shows also that the same employees have a deep interest in digital strategies also to improve their work experience and consider that the digital business is a way to create new perspectives, even for their own lives. Then, workers welcome digital technologies.

Business leaders are to be right-focused on digital technologies, skills, priorities and structures. Have to aligning the workforce and HR strategy with the business and new digital strategies, by experimenting new ways of working and trying to identify the digital skills gap. To fostering leadership behaviours that fuel a digital culture.

So, the Digital disruption will be a window of opportunity for the workforce of the future.
Should such enthusiasm surprise us? Perhaps no. There is a broad foundation of skills that are relevant to emerging digital business models, in many countries within or outside Europe and in all fields specialisation.

The rapid rise of the Millennials will likely reinforce this foundation and drive even greater openness to the emerging world of robots and artificial intelligence. It’s no wonder that senior executives share the optimism of their employees. But there’s a challenge. Caught in the middle are managers, those who have to implement this significant change. And the recent analysis of managers shows that this critical body of employees has concerns.

Yet 57% of the managers interviewed by the researchers around the world are uncertain whether they have the skills to succeed in their role over the next five years. Many are concerned about the impact of artificial intelligence on their jobs. Part of their resistance boils down to trust. But the future leads to have more artificial intelligences, automation and this could give benefits to workforce management, always in line with human needs and interest in coaching and social networks. Since, at the end, robots could help humans in their efficiency but could not take their place.
